Beautiful, Kevin. It is the contrast between the dark, stormcloudy sky and the brilliant, crisp lines of the machine that makes this pop for me. Artfully done.

Yep, my favourite of the series too. Stunning composition, and good use of the dark sky with the lighter turbine. I don't see any oversharpenning, but I'm on a laptop with terrible resolution, I wouldn't notice it anyway.

Stunning lighting, Kevin! Very vivid and I like the dramatic sky. I think this one's the best by far of your windmill series. In this case, with the threatning atmosphere, the heavy frame works perfectly. I think it would make a great advertisement for green energy. Very well done, my compliments!

Cheers,

Hugo

Great lighting and composition. Your image appears to be over sharpened. A minor nit. The pixellated halo in the high contrast areas is the give away on this. Motion blur would bring this image to life but sometimes mother nature doesn't always cooperate.

This series has some stunning views, again very different from your landscapes. I'm really enjoying it. I think I'll stop adding so many of your photos to my favourites--quicker just to visit your portfolio and dawdle. Entrancing!
