A trade would be most welcome. Just drop me an e-mail to the address in my profile and we can discuss the details.

Matej, I agree with you. The tilt was intentional on my part. Who kows why we make certain decisions when we shoot an image. If you notice the image tilts in the direction the one way sign is pointing. The straigtened version just seems so static to me, no? I wish you could see the actual print of this. Maybe a trade?

This is a strange image. I've come back to it a few times, and there's something about it that slowly makes me start to like it. My initial reaction to it was, why the tilt? But when Kevin posted the straightened version, it didn't speak to me at all. This would suggest that it's precisely that surprising, irrational tilt that plays with my mind and makes me want to look at the image again and again, trying to figure it out.
One thing I'm pretty sure of is that I like the range of tones, and the sharpness of the different textures.

I like it but here's some suggestions: Straighten the image..it leans slightly to the right. The key point of your image is quite small to its surroundings; maybe dodge it a bit to brighten it up and lead the eye to that point first?

I like it. The only thing I would do would be to straigteen up the column and move in just a bit,,,see my redo. Hope this helps...but I also Like your version. Everyone sees diffently and likes different images. Keep up the good work. Kev
