I think you were clever to see that picture of the man playing the mandolin in the corner of this larger shot... but I much prefer the whole scene! Great capture, with wonderful atmosphere. I really like the row of listeners in the background, although they do tend to distract attention away from the trio. There's actually a little more on the left that you cropped away--my orientation to panoramas suggests that a shallower, wider crop might give a better balance... just a thought.
