Northumberland, every time I see a photo of that beautiful county I want to get in the car and drive up the A1 immediately, and this one does it for me, now where are my car keys ;-)
Not sure who marked the composition down, but I give it a full 7 points. Only one thing would have made the photo better, and that would be to have a small flock of sheep posing in the foreground, or a gate or something.
Tones, sharpness and clarity are just perfect.
Now, pick up some fuel and off onto the A1 heading north ;-)

I like this, and remember taking similar shots walking in Derbyshire 40 years ago. It may not attract so many "Ooohs!" and "Ahhhs!" within Usefilm, where more colourful images attract more attention, but this is really beautiful in its own quiet, restrained way. Thanks for posting it. I am really enjoying your frequent postings, and tremendously impressed by their consistently high quality.

Wow Kevin, you just keep surprising me with the creative twists of your work. The three layer composition here, normal color foreground, BW midrange, and bluetoned background is intriguing, and nothing I've seen before. Keep it up, I always look forward to what you'll do next!
