About Marbles in glass plate...water added then frozen....lit from underneath....ice started melting while I was shooting....if it's not completely sharp it's because I was holding the camera in one hand and the plate in the other....may
reshoot it with a tripod and with the plate on a piece of glass.

This will open up a whole new series for you, I can tell already. How about some fruit/vegetables in water -- strawberries, lemon or lime slices (I must be thinking about frozen Margaritas), olives, broccoli, or your heretofore famous eggs? I like how you think and especially like to see the results.

Great idea, Barry. The ice gives it a very interesting feel. Nice colors too. I like it.

Well done.

There is one point of sharp focus about one third up from the bottom. That's enough for me. Great!

Very interesting and very good, as always with your shots! The "glowing" colour is wonderful, and all details are very interesting!

Barry, I am not finding a lot of time to shoot, but I always make time to come here and look, and your stuff is always so enlightening. Your imagination never ceases to amaze me. Guess what? Great stuff! Regards my friend.

After all that trouble, I think you should shoot with a tripod! :)
Excellent and imaginatve idea, just the lack of sharpness has my eyes searching for a plane of focus.

How in the WORLD do you even come up with an idea like this? Creative thinking
at it's best. It's a fascinating and brilliant photograph. I like everything about it.
The color, details, just how it looks. Marbles in frozen water, though, who would've thought it?
Have you ever tried your hand at writing? You could probaly come up with some pretty creative
literature, seeing how your mind works! Or are the marbles in frozen water something that
have been tried before? I can hardly wait to see what you come up with next! :)
