Very effective perspective, with a great depht into the snow blizzard (exagerated ?). I actually prefer the more abstract version - it makes room for the essential.

Nice image. I like the diagonals leading towards the center of the frame. Good work with the duotones too. You have kept the detail in the shadows and highlights, which is sometimes tough to do with duotones.
