Thanks for commenting, Roger. You mean the upper left and right corners I suppose.
I left them as they came out of the camera because the icecream pics are separated better from the background this way. Generally I wanted to have VERY dark shadows here to improve the impression of the winterly afternoon sun.

Lovely range of tones from pure black to transparent white. Maybe the shadows are little too dense?
