I gather you do alot of travelling or live next to the Botanical Gardens. In Australia we have an amazing native succulent called Pig Face, which can best be seen on the Bass Strait Islands - ie Flinders, King, Three Hummock Islands. It has even a delicious edible fruit and has various medicinal properties.

Steven ... A thought.... in Photoshop, you could possibly enhance the look by guiding the viewers eyes towards the center of the flower.... A gausian blur was used in a few layers and then I colored the main center in the bottom right hand corner to accentuate it. It is another way to look at an already magnificant shot...

I like the shapes. The flower do looks a little out of focus. A suggestion use the shapes for some abstract shot, whit backlight it would look awsome. Greets Tim.
