Great night shot, I will try when I get a cable release. What Minolta Maxxum do you have, I have the 5, I am thinking about the new digital that will be comming out in the fall it is based on the Maxxum 7, should I stay will film or go Digital?? I like film quality.

No filters. 24mm lens as most wide angle lenses are concentating colors. With wide you will never need polarizing filter for example. Sven, more will come... :) thank you.

Roger, no, didn't add. As you see moon is overexposed(badly). I did it to get reflection from pond. But with luck it was enough to get most bright stars at the same time.

Well Stan, we must be quite the night creatures.... Nice illumination .... did you add the stars??? every time I shoot the night sky with the moon that bright it washes out the stars.... Nice image...
