It may be your first attempt, but it looks as though it could be from a seasoned photographer! Wonderful look at brilliant color and balance of an ordinary subject. It has amazing detail and clarity with fantastic lighting and good exposure. Excellent job, Kim!

Your very first attempt at macro and a very successful one. I have seen many shots of marbles not often one where the marbles cover the whole canvas. Good clarity and lighting. Awesome colours.
My only remark is that I woudn't call it a macro but a close-up shots. In macro shot you do not usually see the shape of the objjects you capture, just details of them.
