About At first I thought the telephone poles and power lines were in the way, and then I felt that they complimented the subject. Comments or advise welcome.

Why have I not commented on this before?!! This is a wondeful shot - love the colours and the abstract quality! One of your best! :)

Jimmy, I don't recall, but one thing I learned about shooting the moon (other than how to perfectly time dropping my pants) is that you can close your aperture more than you might expect (even at night) and kick your shutter speed up pretty good, because that full moon is VERY bright, and that's where your levels are taken from. I used to open the aperture, and slow down the shutter, but always got burned out images. When you think about it, even though it's nighttime, your subject is brightly sun-lit.

Great shot, Bradley. The moon is full again and I tried to capture a shot like this with the moon behind some trees. I couldn't get one with my new digital. Should have used my film camera. Do you recall the speed and aperture you used? Congratulations for a job well done.
Jimmy
