the horizon is not strait, which distracts me, but exellent photo. I agree in the choice of b/w for the theme, though you lost some of the cloud detail in the process.
instead of directly greyscaling have a look at the red channel, and if is how I imagien it could be just do a split of channel, that will create you three grayscale images of every single channel...

maybe I would rotate her a bit to put the ground paralel!!!
