Thanks, Andrew. Actually the lighting was terrible for this shot; the sign was hardly readable at all until I salvaged it in Photoshop. A polarizer helped the sky.

This photo has such a feeling of desolation. I like how you placed the fence in the foreground. You did an excellent job with the exposure to keep the sky from washing out. My only small concern is with the sign, which appears a tad dark on my monitor. My guess is that the sign is a bit more pronouced on the actual print. Still this is great work.
