Actually the egg is not moving at all, what I did is, I filled the fram and focused on the reflection of the egg over the mirror, carfully adjusted mirrors all around to create that oval reflections, and the double exposure is coming from the type of the mirror glass, from the thikness.
Also I used the EX flash along with the tungstine lights, to mix the white light with the warm light.
That almost looks like a person's reflection in the background. Is it? I assume this a double exposure with only the egg moving. The background looks comparatively sharp.
I do like the warmth of the tungsten lights on the egg. It almost looks like it was lit by firelight.
