this is really cool. i do see the line from the plane as distractine though, but still a great shot.

Well done finding the celestial pole, is this the northern or southern hemisphere? And I'm guessing this was at the wide end of the lens as the trails are shortish for 28 minutes

Is this how the file came out no adjustment? I've read that long exposures are the achilles heel of digital cameras. I'm quite surprised by this shot if the exposure was 28 minutes.
