@Matej - thanks for the comments. I agree that the tones are warm, but the ceiling was off-white (a little gray if I remember correctly). This is almost full frame unfortunately since I agree with your suggestions for the composition.

Nice capture. She has what I would call a very adult expression. I find the warm tones very fitting (I'd expect something more neutral with a flash - is it the white balance that affected the tones, or do you have a colour-painted ceiling?). I wouldn't mind seeing more of the Christmas tree (if that's what it is) to help better establish the context, and maybe also a bit more room at the top to give some space in the direction she's looking.
