For John: no need to be sorry, it could be that you didn't notice the comment "About:" the photo which states that the smart-blur filter was applied in photoshop "to create waterrcolor effect". No NeatImage was used. Actually, since buying the S2 my copy of NeatImage hasn't been used even once. There just isn't any noise to contend with from this camera with rare exceptions at ISO 1600. Except for the smart-blur and some color saturation in PS this is "from the camera". I didn't mention that a polarizer and ND2 Grad were used when taking the photo. I don't use these effects often but once in a while an image comes along that begs for experimenting and I do just that.

Sorry but this has a lot of obvious faults induced in post processing. The foreground looks like it has been over processed with a noise reduction programme. (Neatimage) The line on the horizon is too false. Basically the composition is pleasing but is let down by the processing. IMHO Regards John
