Hi Tony,
I'm with Mary Sue on this one, but I will assume the standard scanning issues. The layers and colors are nice, but the horse makes the photograph!

I vote with the masses: keep the horse! I also like the layered colors, however the softness seems too much. You have a wonderful way of using soft textures in your images that I have yet to achieve, so in general I like it very much. In this image, however, the foreground has the same degree of softness as the distant background, which seems incongruent. Perhaps I will be the only one with this reaction, but I thought I'd share it. :)

I really like the layers in their muted colors. The horse stays. It's a good anchor and further emphasizes the easygoing feel to this image.

hi Tony, the layer upon layer of color here is awesome - I like the low contrast of this image, but do wonder what it would like if it had a higher contrast. I would keep the horse.
