Great capture of one of the most unknown (to tourists) cities in the US. San Antonio and the River Walk is just fantastic...... You managed yo get the Texas flag as well

So I have to know dear Paul - is this the photo that landed you into 20D mode? Its a wonderful shot of the well-known River Walk (but I have yet to see it!) and the night time view is splendid with the flag-awnings. Love this.

Paul, Great image. Spent some time in San Antonio during my Air Force days. It didn't look quite this good. Obviously the city found a budget to make the improvements. Really gives you a wonderful sense of Texas pride. Regards, Bill.

HI Paul! I love this image, the festive colors caught my eye first, then the image really draws you into it! VERY NICE!
I found this especially interesting since I will be seeing the River Walk in June, I have never been to Texas, so this gives me a little preview! In fact, I just sent it to someone as a postcard!

Better than I did!!! Man...that is good. My son went through Holloman and my wife and I traveled down for the graduation...and we did the River Walk. We ate at a place called "Beers and Steers" it was great. I have several shots of the river...but none as good as this. And--welcome to the world of digital...it is amazing. I am sending you one other pick of that shelf cloud. This one was taken 15 minutes before the one I posted.
again---this is good stuff! Ya did well!
(and all those Lone Star umbrellas...nice)
