Quinn,
Go back to your previous image and really study the composition. the angle of the other was impeccable. This one, though properly exposed and full of emotion, is still lacking that extra that would make it really snap a reader or a looker. I think that if you would have shot from the side, with a wider angle, it would have given the image more power. Try working over this one in BW just for a different perspective.

I can't tell he's a musician. You should have used a wider shot to include his instrument.
