About	Difficult to capture the drama of the winter landscape without snow and especially with a small JPEG version of the image - the original picks up a lot more fine detail than you can see here. I'm impressed with the quality from this compact Olympus camera (my first digital) but the dynamic range is more limited than my usual slide film (Sensia) so I used 2 exposures to get both the sky and shadow detail clearly.

I really like the composition and the dynamic of the landscape terrain, you're right, very difficult to capture and balance the different kind of light, contrast may help ?
