About Completely absorbed by an intense conversation; guestures are commonly used to emphasise. I tried to capture these movements by using a fill flash with a relatively long exposure. No tripod used. Please tell me what you think; although I like this image, I wonder wether the fill flash was needed.... All comments are welcome!

Cheers,

Hugo

interesting "living" shot, very effective. It transmit the sensations, the emotion. Not only the image... It seems to me to listen to their loud voice...

I think it adds dynamism to the photo. Did this myself by accident and would like to explore it a little more.

Hugo,

I think the flash was a good idea - while it doesn't last the entire exposure - I think it does keep the image from getting too dark.

I like this - both heads - one not facing us - energy and a wonderful smile --- I also like the graininess provided by the longer exposure.

Never tried to capture such a situation, it would be funny in Italy, because Italians gesticulate very much with their hands ;))) I like the effect on his face, even if the flash freezed only one position of the head, it would be great to use a stroboscopic flash (I don?t know how, maybe too difficult, just an idea). Bye Max

PS: look at the attached image, found in the Canon (sorry ;) ) archive.

Aardig Hugo, maar de beweging lijkt schokkerig. Ik zie wel wat je bedoelt. Nog een keer dan maar. Groetjes Rob.
