For some reason I like all that sky and I'm thinking of getting a large print. I've done double-exposures with a big moon but this is all the lens I have for this camera for now and it's close to maxed out here.

Great colors and detail. I do think that you could crop some from the top. The snow topped peaks are very interesting. Don.

Good try on this. I've attempted to do the same at different locations with similar results. A double exposure really is the best way to go. I think the interest for my eye is the detail of the mountain. The amount of sky in your image seems a bit much. This isn't helped by the fact that the moon is so small. As mentioned by Tom a double exposure would work better here. I've had luck with 300mm lenses. You generally don't want your moon to be too big. At least if you're looking for something semi-photorealistic. Also if you do try double exposures with the moon that when you shoot the moon to follow the sunny 16 rule. The moon technically is a sun lit object.

Very nice photo although I agree with Tom. Overall very crisp and appealing image, Antonella

Very sharp and well exposed. IMO you need a big moon for these kind of shots = use as much telephoto as possible - at least 300mm and preferably 500mm+.
