thank you all for your comments. this was a slide originally. I scanned it in and worked on it in photoshop to even out the exposure, because yes the tree was in the shadow. But it wasn't really that far gone from good. I slightly saturated the sea a little more also. I'm not completly pleased with the PS work I did, I can do better. When I took the picture I really liked the composition and the shape of the tree with its interesting bark. This tree was on the grounds of the Negril Lighthouse.

Good and from technic view the surprise is that the exposure is pretty good, something VERY difficult here because you was at the shadow of the tree and target - focus at a very bright place. Unbelievable..... the sky IS AZURE! NOT WHITE.... SO THE SEA! 100% pro job!

One word could sum this up..."WOW" No matter how many times I see a photo of this quality, I get a rush. In my travels, I have "been there" many times...from the Islands to the Med....wonderful.
