Great portrait..so " real"...just the way I love them. Needless to say that the photo is perfect, but here I repeat myself,so this part is taken for granted!! Antonella

Very interesting! I have to admit-it made me a little uncomfortable--but that must be because you are a great photojournalist! The photograph is wonderfully composed and the expressions priceless! Very good work! Charisse

Stereoscopic.......interesting. So that what you do with these! That child really has the most marvelous expression of discontent!! This is great, Roger!

I think Roger Williams covered most of the technical aspects here...from a nitpickers standpoint, I could wish that the child's hand wasn't cropped but it doesn't really bother me.
I really like the contrast between the child's slightly disgruntled expression and the man's obvious pride and enjoyment of the little one.

He's going to need some cooperation in arranging that! What age did he start? Either 15 or 35, I suppose. Hmmmm. Questions aside, there's a lovely contrast between this man's skin and hair and that of his son and heir. As usual, you've got a beautiful range of tones there, from silky black to paper white, and subtle graduations all the way between. The sharp focus and back lighting make them stand out stereoscopically against the dark background. I like that. I'm a sucker for stereoscopic effects.
