I'm curious as to why you wanted the harsh lighting... with the title unwanted, I think of darkness and shadows, hiding away.
Since you know, and chose the harsh lighting I won't comment on it!
What is the background? A solid colour of some sort might help make the tomato stand out more, as the light in the foreground is a bit distracting on the fabric used.
I think this is worth trying again, unless of course you wanted it exactly this way.
