Do not know much about PS. But probably you had not enough dept of field when shooting this image.
If you can modify the aperture of your camera, go for the highest f number. This will give you more DOF. Otherwise get more distance between your subject and the camera to get out of the MACRO mode. This will also increase the DOF. You will have then more on the image than you want, but you can easily crop in PS.
Btw. I really like the composition and exposure. If you can establish a sharper image it is an excellent photograph.
