Used 2-stop graduated neutral density filter. Magenta in moonlight is due to the fact that sunset is occurring and reflecting off of thin cloud layer in the sky.
I love the lighting in this - and i wish the shoreline didn't have the buildings and old structure would fit with he mood but for me, these are too modern - they break the mood of the water, moon and light.
Wow, what a great shot, Joffre! It reminds me, surprisingly, of the moon shining across a snow-covered field. I really like the placement of the piling (I think that's what it is) and the way the reflection on the water leads your eye to the things on shore. Very nice!
