John, this is in reply to your comment on the Castle Combe pan. The one thing you cannot do with swing-lens panorama cameras (unlike fixed-lens cameras with rectilinear lenses like the Xpan) is tilt them up or down. The result is a vertiginously curved horizon. It is absolute death in architectural shots! I wanted the river in the foreground, and that more or less dictated the angle. There is a TX-1 shot of the same place elsewhere in my portfolio if you have the patience to look for it. There's less of a problem with the sky in that one but it's still not ideal.
By the way, this beautiful scene has typical Velvia saturation, even a little over the top. Were you deliberately slightly underexposing it?

Very nice composition and lovely scene - love those puffy clouds. It seems a bit dark to me, though.
