Wow , Roger, this looks geat, a little bit like a computer simulation of an architect, highly artificial. I looked at the people first to see if this is really a photograph.
It is a very impressing urban landscape shot. I said it already but once again I am impressed how easy you control the pano format ! BTW just found an article in the german Foto Magazin , Fuji 6X17 (cm !!), your next invest ? :-)

OK, Matej, here it is http://www.pgallery.net/rogerama/image-35120.html. Even this is scrunched down a bit, but at least you can see more details of the sculptures... The wall has an interesting texture but I find the coloured tubes rather infantile.

Hi Roger, Nice Panoramic landscape.
Been away from photography for a while But I am back!
Japan really is a place of contrasts isnt it? Modern sculputues and skyscrapers stick next to the gnarled trees and little sign shops that looks as though they have been there forever.

Matej, I am sure this whole area was created first by computer graphic modeling, sold to the developer, and then created to look JUST like it did on the computer screen. I waited quite some time for a pleasant arrangement of people. Normally I would like them to be walking into the picture but this time the loneliness of the scene seemed to work better with them walking away. It's a cool cityscape, isn't it!
I do have a bigger version of this at another site, where you can see more details of the "brick wall" art and the "coloured tubes" art. Hmph!

interesting colors rog nearly a monotone if they were grey flowers. Looks a very clean pic and place. Problem with landscape shots or stitches is you can't upload big...I think I have solved your problem you are having with the old man shot. There was no sharpening applied but what I did do which I forgot about was I put a very mild watercolor paper effect to it when it was a color shot. When I cam back to work on it and I flipped it to BW I forgot but your keen eye picked it up. I can't see it even though I know I did something to it....I hope you can get some sleep now, take care roger

The black pole doesn't bother me, the simple fact that it exists there justifies its presence in the photo. I like the placement of the people, the single figure on the right and then the four people in a line further in the background. The tones are interesting, at least on this monitor they make the photo look almost like one of those images created in 3D-modelling computer programmes.

Hi Roger,
this widelux thing is making me really jealous !
I love the clean lines here, its almost 'antiseptic' in quality, your eye for the panerama gets better and better with every upload.
My only gripe about this particular shot is the black pole in the left of frame, it adds nothing and should maybe be cloned out. Apart from that I cannot find fault.
