Your explanation to Phil explains a lot Antonella and it pleases me to hear that htis is not your setting. The photo is nice and you are right a less dominant background and different lighting is really the right way to go.

Antonella, once again the beautiful 'Fleur"! in this representation she appears to have a very subtle and yet impish look on her face ..... well done.. that new Nikon D-100 is really cranking out some beautiful shots! do you have more than one lens for it? best regards ....jon

This is a very powerful and impressive series. You really get these women to reveal something of their inner selves... Am I to understand this was a studio session, with other photographers present? I am even more impressed, because I had thought this kind of revelation only occurred when the photographer and the model were very well known to each other and had an unusual "rapport."

Phil: you are so right!!! You have no idea of how much I have insisted that she moved forwards as I could tell the results....but,as I said,it is not my studio and other photographers asked that she moved towards the background.
SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR THE HARSH LIGHTS AND TOO SHARP BACKGROUND !!!! Please look only at the model's expression! Antonella

Great photo and lovely girl, the lighting is spot on. However I feel that in this particular photo if you had moved the model further forward away from the back drop it may have softened the background and cut out those harsh shadows behind her.........Phil
