You are absolutely right in your remarks on my photo.
I agree.
But there has been a frustrating discussion back here
about what is a "real" photograph. A thesis was that the more work you have put in (preparations, waiting out in the bush, metering the light, shifting lenses, using filters + sweat and blood in the darkroom - the better or more "valuable" the photo.
Of course I disagree on that. It is rubbish.

Good work. I could never do that, I am sure.
It looks just great
I am still suffering from a confusing discussion about what is a "real" photograph and what is a "manipulation". Not being involved much, but it was terrible to watch.
My thesis is that we live in manipulated world.
So perhaps we have to turn the wheel more than twice
to find out what is "reality" and "a true documentation" of what?s going on around us. Even in nature photography perhaps.
