About the sea is the ultimate artist. it forms, washes, rinses and deletes, and then it is gone, retreated and almost out of sight. and we are left there and then and want to find out what happened.

...then come's the perception of the person which may be able to discover, or maybe not.
_Your perception was fresh and playfull enough to spot this detail rised from the game of the sea :)
My compliments!

Original, interesting and very beautiful as an abstract
Yes, I agree, the sea is the ultimate artist and eventually deletes everything but.....you took this shot and made this dancing figure immortal before it was gone and that's a great thing.
Beautiful colour combination
I love it!

to all: thank you very much for your very interesting and supporting comments.
because of antonio's consideration i have to explain the situation.
when last around in early november 2001 with a painter friend of mine, namely florian schmidt of munich/germany, in tuscany, we went together to the beach at punta ala. he played around with some colour powder by the water and i took the chance to take a series of pictures there as well.
the surpising effect was that later when he saw these i show here, he lamented that he had something similar in mind but failed to take the proper position for his picture taking. thanks to florian's idea i learned again some genial and creative method for generating new and very unusual pictures. i can think of a continued process in motion ...
regards to all

This is just amazing Charlie - I LOVE this kind of image - it reminds me of some kind of tribal graffiti! That probably sounds pathetic what I wrote but I know what I mean - and it's good ;) I love the colours... C U soon Charlie and post lots and lots, yours, Cherie

Fantastic to imagine that the sea, our loved see could leaves such a form on the sand.
I love the possibility to make dance this figure with my fantasy,
I love the two colours together.

your eye in catching the natural art is very fine Charlie, I like this shot, I understood it is a casual form you find walking along a beach I suppose, very very nice

PS I suppose you ask me to show the original shot of Half pumpkin still manipulated in PS. Obviously with this program, which is different from usual software, there are a lot of possibilities for transforming a shot in a paint just as the ones transforming a canvas in a paint! :))
