Mark, You have a beautiful wife and have done a great job in presenting a nostalgic looking image. I love the tight crop and sepia toning. Such beautiful natural light. I tell you, you cant beat natural light if caught at the right time. I see alot of beauty in your images and the way you use natural light.
Yes, I am the one who told David about this site and I think he is enjoying it tremensly. He is a great soul who gives me alot of support with my photography. I am glad you two made friends as well. You are now part of my friends list and I cannot wait to see more of your work. I have learned and continue to learn a great deal from this site and from talented photographers. I appreciate your kind words and any helpful advice you might lend me for my work.
My only suggestion to improve this picture is to crop the left hand side. I believe it is part of the sofa and the lighter color and increased blur on it is a bit distracting. I think if you cropped to her hair line - it would improve compositionally and get rid of the only distracting part of a beautiful portrait.
