This is very original, and an area where your digital camera helps with the instant feedback... with film, there would be too long between when I tried it and seeing the result for the learning experience to be useful. The result is really beautiful... but with strange shadows that make one wonder how the lighting could have been arranged. The completely black setting makes the colours look that much more vivid. "Painting" with light is a great idea. I look forward to a series, like your wonderful series of trees, and silhouettes against the sunset. Why not experiment with carefully directed BACK lighting to get some translucent effects?

Very nice fruit still life. Wonderful how you painted with light. I like the softness in the photo altough I know it is sharp. Pity the reflection of the grapes is cutted of on bottom and the lighter spots in the background are a little distracting. It would heve been nicer with the background totally black....Best regards Harry
