Cory, Your friends should love this, it is a great emotional image. I do believe however that it could benefit from a tighter crop, putting more emphasis on the figures and less on the background. Just some random thoughts. reguards, ray w.
I love the emotional appeal of this image and usually dont like the blurred background but it helps the focus here on the subjects. On the other hand, it seems it could even be a bit sharper and leveled ever so slightly. I've found that if I use a landscape mode, prefocus a bit in the forground of the subject I get a sharper focus and DOF than using a portrait mode. Nice Image and no matter what technical aspects may be involved, the real proof in the pudding is the emotinal impact it has for the family members! Regards Ken
