Marcy, I have been looking at your portfolio and I think this is one of my favourites. It is the framing and the monotone that I love, together with the expression. I find it difficult to try and catch these type of expressions. I think although you often add artificial lighting digitally, here it works better with the mood of the photo. I would like to see what it would look like with light in a thin strip across her ehes instead of her whole face. Either way this is a good image.
