nice shot...your comp is good, but the lighting on these flowers is overwhelming

I like the way you've seperated the subject from any background... Black often works very well with flowers... Unfortunately the highlights here are just too much. There's a delicateness that is missing because of the harsh petals. Filling in some of the exposure settings and the camera and lens information would help us to understand better how this exposure came about.
