Powerful photo with a powerful commentary. This is when and why images work - images that capture something in our life but not necessarily literally (ie not a snapshot of Suzy riding her horse to a blue ribbon at the county fair). This captures your spiritual life in a symbolic way and therefore is very potent. I do agree about the dustbins but it would appear you had a quandry. The only solution would have been if they were noticed at the time of the photo and you were able to get a slightly higher angle. I know I've missed things like that before.
Thanks for your comments guys. Yannic, I didn't crop the top because it would have cut into the top of the fish, also I liked the way it curved off into the distance towards the just parked car. (But don't think I didn't try.) This photo reminded me of a bumper sticker popular around here. Under the fish sign on the bumper are the words: "Jesus Saves". I believe it symbolizes omnipotence, never ending, or in other words, GOD. I thought it was interesting that while we were hurrying to catch the beginning of the Bronco game, Sunday morning, that signs of spirituality were still there, if you took the time to notice. I can't remember if we won the game that day or not, however. I'm including a photo from a couple of years ago that I found earlier this spring, right before Easter. At the time I was questioning my spirituality and the role that Jesus played. I asked, He answered. Thanks again, Teresa
Very funny title, Teresa :-). The image has a nice feeling. I just would have cropped the upper part to avoid the (dustbin?) visible at the top right of the image. Very nice image nonetheless. Regards. Y
