unfortunate choice of words. I am definitely not against PS manipulations. I enjoy them and often employ them myself. Apologises for not being sufficiently clear. I am going to try if i can rephrase it better this time. I like the image...but knowing that its PSed and that there exists the original somewhere, I'd rather see the non-PSed version...the title itself evoked memories of a sci-fi short story and I didnt want to associate a PS image with it...it is purely a personal and convoluted series of thoughts....I should have chosen my words more carefully...

Thanks for your comments on this image.Obviously I did some PS work on this photo, perhaps I should have mentioned this in 'Other', I usually do .Lassitude,I don't really understand what you mean when you say'I'm not sure that I appreciate.....'Are you not in favour of image manipulation ?When I 'see' a possible photo I tend to take into account what I'll be able to do with the image in Photoshop and that might also influence choice of lense, filters, viewpoint etc,etc before I even shoot!Just about every image I've ever uploaded to this site has been worked on in PS.,if only (usually ) minimally. If it weren't for the digital darkroom, colour photographers like myself would still be in the dark ages ,having to accept whatever the local lab. threw back at us.You can't really be saying that you appreciate an image less if its been worked on in PS.,can you?The non PS. version is ....incomplete and really doesn't have the impact of the finished image I uploaded.

It is definitely a great pic and it belongs to digital project. Tony, I'm interested in seeing the non-PS version of it too...

Take care

wow...i like the impact of this image...I could be wrong, but i think i see some PS work which I am not sure that I appreciate...this is a great image and composition...is it ok if we see it non-PSed?
