Final selection for the car in the discarded series, once again I\'m having washed out problems with B&W uploads but rest assured that the on screen image I have allows you to read the piece of paper on the rear wing.
Odd, becuase I tried a difference layer with one of the previous images and the change was significant. I just can't fathom why its only B&W. I need to double check the difference between a desaturated RGB and a Greyscale to see if there is a problem with the mode.
Yep, trollys of MK, very similair, just Higher res and B&W!! I've attached a sample for anyone that doesn't know what the hell we are talking about!
It's interesting about losing range within areas of highlights after a B&W upload. I can't recover anything this end as when I load this image into PS, there's practically no info there at all. I know the images are re-saved after uploading because the file size changes and I lose all my EXIF info and any other APPn data blocks. However, when I grabbed one of my B&W images and did a difference layer with the UseFilm version there wasn't a single pixel's difference.
Like this quirky series though. Reminds me a little of that classic aficionados website, "Derelict Shopping Trolleys of Milton Keynes". Scum-encrusted rubbish sinking into the canal mud never looked so good...
