Wonderful clouds formation...so typical for our part of the continent...I can feel warm westerly winds in my face!!! and spectacular open space below me...Great work. Regards, Rafal

Carol: softness is entirely appropriate for this image IMO. I see the cloud as the main subject just as you seem to do.

Stefan: You're very perceptive and very correct. It is a bit soft -- I did that on purpose to... ummm... stay in harmony with the soft smooth cloud. :-) Actually, it was also taken with a zoom and handheld, so it's not as tack sharp as it could be.

This is beauty. Craig gave you good comments on this one. I am especially taken with the undulating bands of pure color. If the trees weren't there it would almost fall into the category of abstracts (not that I want them to vanish). It feels a touch soft, but maybe my eyes are just getting used to oversharpened images here on usefilm?

Very appealing. The three trees and the three stripes of land, clouds and sky make an excellent composition.

Carol; on first glance, I wanted to crop out a lot of the upper layer of blue sky, but on second look, it became clear that the darkish and incredibly blue sky was an essential part of this composition. This photo is nicely divided into three bands of about equal weight, and the trees add a resting spot for the eyes. Would this photo be successful w/o the trees? I think it would. Nice "seeing".
