OMG... this sooo looks like it is done in 3D... like that effect... I wish I knew what it was called... like you cross your eyes and see something in the picture... WOW.. this is very very cool looking!!!

This is a very nice image using this technique. It's a technique I use often myself. How many shots on the frame in this one?
The composition needs to be cleaned up a little. The fence in the background is distracting and there's too much emtpy space around the patch of flowers. I find these shots work best when the frame is filled with colour with little or no empty space. The stems of the plants also create a good deal of empty space.

I am afraid this doesnt work for me personally, beautiful colors, but it looks too blurry, like a mistake more than intent. sorry just my opinion. the composition is nice and I think would have made a nicer photo if sharper , or mult exp. were more isolated.

Well done for trying something new. However, for me it doesn't quit hit the mark. Maybe if the colours had a little more vibrancy it might, but overall it just feels a touch flat.
Boosted the colours in the attached image. Don't know what you think. Better or worse?Best wishes.

I understand what you intended to do here, but to my point of view you dit it to much. You blurred to much and it tends to kill the overall picture. Maybe you should have removed the upper background that, at my taste, is damaging the poetry of the flowers. But the overall idea of blurring the picture to create an impressionistic effect is very nice and appealing. Great emotion. Wish you well.

I'm a big fan of multi's... This one just does not work for me however. For a first attempt I say bravo!! Good for you in getting out of your comfort zone if you will! A multi has to have the same pleasing compositon or graphic elements that make a straight shot work. The fence in the background is distracting. The compositon does not have a flow or place where my eye goes... Keep experimenting and you will have a blast! Again Bravo for your creativity!

I like this very much Bjorn, I've become quite addicted to blur lately. I think it would have been better to have avoided including the fence (?) in the background.
In answer to your question about my chestnut picture, it was shot indoors using daylight from a window with a reflector to open up the shadows a little.

This is a wonderful effect..it has depth and richness that normal blurred photos don?t really have (at least mine don?t!!). i?d love to see the same thing done with a more careful selection of backgrounds. it should be easy enough to do. A little post processing would not be a bad thing and would enhance the beauty of your work. i would tweak contrast just a little to reduce the foggy cast. i can?t wait to see more like this, Bjorn! Well done, Bjorn. I could imagine the photo with just slightly less blur and having a bit less room on the left in favour of a bit more room on the right, but overall I think you've achieved what you wanted to and the effect is very nice. How many exposures?
