These are the bolivian highlands, at 4200 meters of altitude, between La Paz and the Titicaca lake. Pastel colors are those, I guess that extreme drought of this lands lifts ferrum oxide in air making colors look in that wonderful way. The Aimaras live in this lands since thousands of years, and they were originally called Incas.
Gran foto, Pablo, ya me gustaría andarme por el Altiplano alguna vez. Me encantan esos paisajes desolados. Por cierto, creo que el escáner te ha hecho una jugarreta: seguro que la foto original es mucho mejor.
