It does look like you had a very complicated plan here. But it couldn't have worked out better if it had been planned. Simply a great eye for art.

Surely original composition especialy because of the hight contrast between the black and the white area.

Wow, this is great! First on the thumbnail I thought that I would rather see it without the black part in background... but now I see the spider web there, and it really adds so much! Very interesting and very good quality photo!

Richard, the background is part of my house wall, half of the web is on the darkside and hlaf on the white, so its impossible to expose for both with external flash. I do like your idea, will try it, and thanks so much for the comment.

Javed, you seem to have done a remarkable job in getting the exposure right for both, I presume the white bg is a card or something held up behind the spider and web, I think its a great idea. I might be tempted to take this a little further my friend, try duplicating the spider but not the bg, then turn the duplicate 180 degrees and place on the right hand side going up, it would create a YIN/YANG type balance which I think would look good :-) This has excellent detail and saturation and I commend you - Richard.

Difficult... but the result is wickedly good a simple but powerfully strong sense of design.
