This phot was taken with the cat in situ. She was not added later. The only PS work was to take some of the shadows away and adjust the levels

Original concept! I guess you digitally manipulated the cat to save some pantyhoses :)
I like the white background (although a uniform gray background would also work I guess).
About the composition: maybe I would include the women's knee, but I am not sure about it. Maybe you tried it already?

Great composition, and I love the picture. I think that a little less light (flash) on her calf, and a little more definition in the fur would be nice. That combination isn't easy (!!!) but perhaps a little talcum powder on her calf to cut the glare? Then work on the cat's fur. Also, the white line under her shoe is distracting.

If you figure out how to get this, please let us know! I haven't even come close to what you have here, it's just that I can see in this photo what I wish to change in my photos.

My first thought was, "How many pairs of pantyhose will she have to go through to get this shot just right?". Anyway. I love the concept, the fishnet hose, the black cat, the red shoes. It doesn't quite shout "red" to me though, but I am having trouble figuring out why. Too many elements maybe? I love the way you got the background perfectly white, yet it makes for a kind of harshness in the picture, that maybe works, maybe is too much. I don't know.

Actually, I think this is a very good picture, and I'm just being wordy about it because I like it a lot.

Take care,

Ursula
