Thank you for the comments everyone! I guess the dof is just a matter of opinion, when looking at the print, I also desire a tad more dof. James: Sorry!! The vacation was one of those really last minute, were-lucky-to-have-gotten-airplane-tickets things. I flew up there with a friend of mine. Didn't have much time to get a hold of you to ask even of your wise word on what to have a look at while I was up there. OH well! California informs me there will be a next time....

Hey!!! You came out here for a visit and didn't even stop by. What's with that? Hope you had fun. I too would have liked a little more dof or something on the trunk at the focus point to have as a center of interest.

The depth of field is a little too shallow - I'm struggling to find something to focus on. Maybe if there was a bug or something in the focused area that I could lock onto. :)

I would have liked seen all the way down the tree. The center of focus is a little weird for me.
