About	In some parts of the Pyrenees it did not rain for a long time, this summer - the fauns were coloured yellow and brown already mid August. (I had some mixed feelings about the upper right corner of this image, but I eventually decided to leave the sky in)

Mary, this was the reason I left the sky in - I wanted it to be landscape :)
But you are right, without the sky it becomes more abstract.

I would opt against the sky - it makes this landscape and without the sky it becomes a wonderfully abstract commentary on drought...

Schitterend landschap met echte herfstkleuren. Nog bedankt voor je commentaar; ja, Ameland is schiiterend en vooral de Waddenzee! Ik moet ook drie-en-een-half uur rijden om er te komen, een behoorlijk eind, maar zeker de moeite waard! Groetjes,
