Lovely construction with good blue colours and with a little more contrast could be a one nice work, keep traying.

Bryce, you certainly have managed to capture the majesty here. I might have even walked closer to the building for more magnitude. A polarizer would have helped with the sky -- it's always a difficult balance with exposure. Well done.

Bryce,
This is shot on color film right? Then a red filter would have done nothing for this. A polarizer and a warming filter as Sue mention would work. This kind of shot dosent work well in color(my opinion) and shot be shot in B&W. More sky detail is needed so shooting this on a partly cloudy day would work well.
Shoot this on B&W film with a Red #25 filter on a partly cloudy day and you would have a very good shot.

A moose filter would have done well to polarize the sky yet warm up the scene.
Interesting perspective. Nice historic building.

HI Rob! No it is most assuredly the original Flat Iron in Manhattan, but I agree that there is more than a passing resemblence to the Renoir. I probably have some decent pics of the Renoir, too (I live in SF)! Thanks for your comment. - bryce

Looks like the Renoir Hotel in SF?
