Excellent Capture.
A very nice you came upon.
I like the softness around this guy, it helps much to highlight the moose, but not take away from the natural surroundings.
I'm also looking hard for moose, I have found them, but there antlers are not fully grown yet.

Jim; I like this shot much better than the other-- good sharpness, good composition, and an interesting pose by the moose (can you get a moose to pose?;>). The moose is just a bit dark, but still nicely done as these guys have got to be difficult to capture in the wild with a camera. With a scoped rifle, you can shoot from 200-300 yards, but not so with a camera. Nice work.

a wonderful capture...I can find a few things to nit pick, but you know in the end it is the amazing animal capture that matters...a beautiful natural shot...the most distracting element is that the horizon appears tilted...but that's an easy fix, and the truth is I'm not sure that that it is the water or a body of land there that is an illusion...congratulations on a wonderful capture
